The Bradman Scholarship

The Bradman Scholarship is for Australian university undergraduates. It is designed to assist young cricketers with the costs of a tertiary education while they juggle their study and cricket club commitments.

The scholarship is open to all undergraduate students who have a connection with cricket and continue their involvement while at university. It provides funding of $5,000 a year for three years, so the total value is $15,000.

The Bradman Scholarship has been assisting young cricketers for 25 years with five females among its recipients. Current Australian Vice-Captain Alex Blackwell and Sydney Sixers Kara Sutherland have both received the scholarship.

The Bradman Foundation look for a blend of academic, sporting, personal, social skills and community involvement when choosing a Bradman Scholar.

More information and the scholarship application documents can be downloaded from the Bradman website.
