Great place to practice tennis in the world’s sporting capital

Melbourne has been voted the sporting capital of the world four times now, so sportspeople there are spoiled for choice when it comes to fantastic sporting facilities for practice. One of these is the National Tennis Centre.

The National Tennis Centre is an amazing place to learn or practice tennis. Located within Melbourne Park, which is the home of the Australian Open, the National Tennis Centre is world class with eight indoor plexicushion courts, five outdoor plexicushion courts and eight Italian clay courts which you can hire.

It’s relatively inexpensive, with court hire from just $30 and they’re open long hours, 6.30am to 10.30pm Monday to Thursday, 6.30am to 9pm Friday and 9am to 6pm weekends and public holidays.

So get yourself down to the National Tennis Centre and play on the same courts used by the professional players during the Australian Open.
